We are proud to report that PKF member firms in the Asia-Pacific region have achieved excellent growth over the last year, according to the most recent International Accounting Bulletin surveys.

The International Accounting Bulletin publishes annual surveys with league tables for the leading global accountancy networks and associations. The surveys are conducted on a regional basis and the latest results for Asia-Pacific, released earlier this year, show that PKF member firms in this region have delivered a strong performance across the board.

With average growth across accountancy networks in 2021 of 3%, Asia-Pacific PKF member firms have excelled themselves. PKF in South Korea has enjoyed phenomenal success over the last year, with almost a fourfold increase in revenue compared to 2020. Similarly, PKF member firms in Malaysia, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore have outperformed their rivals in terms of average revenue growth, with the firms achieving year-on-year growth of over 20%, 10%, 8% and 6% respectively.

PKF in Australia features in the top ten accountancy networks across the country based on 2021 survey responses, recording overall growth of 8%. PKF member firms in Vietnam and Hong Kong are among the top ten national providers of assurance and tax services respectively, while PKF in China has achieved overall revenue growth in excess of 8%.

PKF International CEO, Theo Vermaak, is delighted with the results of the Asia-Pacific member firms: ‘To see PKF member firms in our Asia-Pacific region report such strong revenue growth after what has been a very challenging year is testament to their ingenuity and client-centric approach. Firms have excelled at building trusting relationships with their clients that will serve both parties well now and in the future.’
