Reflections on the PKF Global Gathering
As professionals, we dedicate much of our time to helping clients navigate the technical complexities of running a business. However, it’s just as important to recognise that we, too, operate a business—one that thrives on relationships and a strong network. This principle underpins our decision to join the PKF network, which provides us with a global platform for collaboration and innovation.
Since becoming part of the PKF network, I’ve had the privilege of attending various Conferences, from the PKF New Zealand conference to the PKF Asia Pacific Conference, and most recently, the PKF Global Conference in Seoul, Korea.
The Global Gathering was a truly remarkable experience, bringing together colleagues from North America, Latin America, EMEI (Europe, Middle East, and India), and the Asia Pacific. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces from France, Germany, Singapore, China, and Hong Kong while also forging new connections with peers from Mongolia, Zimbabwe, Florida, and Korea.
The discussions were centred on shared challenges within our profession and the immense opportunities available through cross-border collaboration within the PKF network. Together, we explored topics such as:
* Tax strategy thought leadership
* Doing business in Asia and China
* Trends in Transfer Pricing
* Sustainability and ESG reporting in Europe and its global ripple effects
For our clients, this global connectivity is invaluable. If you’re considering expanding overseas or have family members planning to migrate to another country, we have access to a trusted network of PKF peers around the world who can provide guidance and support.
