PKF Bay of Islands has been in the business of providing accounting, business solutions and taxation advice in the Bay of Islands for the last 60+ years.

PKF Bay of Islands deals with property matters, investments, wealth creation and sound tax advice.

An opportunity has arisen for a CA or CPA qualified business services professional, or someone advanced in their study towards a CA or CPA qualification, to join the firm’s Paihia team. The team culture will suit a passionate, self-driven individual looking for professional development and a broad work scope.

The majority of your time will be spent on annual compliance for SME businesses, however the role will also involve internal/client training, tax management, client relations and business development when required.

You will be trusted to build relationships with your clients, eventually taking full ownership over a portfolio of clients including managing the workflow and client relationships at various levels.

Your sound academic background and qualifications will be complemented by a minimum 3-4 current (or recent) NZ CA experience. Xero certification and use of Xero at a Practice and Reporting level would be highly beneficial, but also a good working knowledge of MYOB and other accounting software packages will be handy.
