Our meeting will take place in Wanaka, New Zealand from Wednesday 27th September to Saturday 30th September. Wanaka is in the South Island of New Zealand near Queenstown. It is just under an hour's drive from Queenstown Airport. We have chosen the Edgewater Resort Hotel as our venue this year.  It is on the shore of Lake Wanaka. The hotel is set in garden surroundings with all rooms having a balcony or terrace to enjoy the magnificent views from. The tree-lined walking path from the hotel into Wanaka central is a pleasurable approximately 15 minutes walk. You are very welcome to bring your family and enjoy this uniquely spectacular region.

Meeting highlights

Wednesday 27th September

We start our PKF family reunion with welcome cocktails in the hotel, a perfect opportunity for catching up with old friends and meeting new PKF family members.

Thursday 28th September

In 2017, the AsPac region will continue to align our regional initiatives with those of PKF globally. Our focus is on closer collaboration with passionate people from within the PKF family in order to differentiate ourselves in a competitive market. We will explore how we can work together better and share our knowledge, skills and resources. We will continue our discussion on the Belt and Road Initiatives. A summary of what we have achieved in the past year and more important is how we move forward in the coming year.

Friday 29th September

We will kick off with a business session and followed by an afternoon networking activity before dinner. You will see the natural beauty of the winemaking area and taste the world-class award-winning wines, the Pinot Noir. As an alternative, you can choose the boat trip on Lake Wanaka with a walk on one of the islands to enjoy the view and the flora.

Saturday 30th September

A final business morning and followed by an optional tour to Queenstown. We will travel up the Gondola to get great views of Queenstown and its surroundings. We will then cruise on Lake Wakatipu on the steamship Earnslaw to Walter Peak Station to get a taste of New Zealand’s farming lifestyle at Walter Peak High country Farm and dinner.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
